Transport Clerk / Logistics Administrator

Job Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
Payrate: £13.98 per hour/basic
Overtime: £20.97 per hour
Shift Service: 9 am – 5.30 pm (Monday-Friday)
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in a transport clerk or similar role within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using transportation management software or related tools.
- A proactive approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and processing transport documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, and shipping labels.
- Resolving any delivery discrepancies or issues that may arise.
- Maintaining accurate records and databases of all transport activities.
- Providing administrative support to the logistics team.
- Communicating effectively with clients and internal departments.
- Generating and distributing daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to logistics operations.
