Picking Operative

Shifts – 18:00 – 02:00 Monday – Friday
Pay rate – £15.27ph
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Picking Operatives to join a dynamic team in a Distribution Centre, based in Measham, DE12. You will play a key role in ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch.
Due to the nature of the products some can be a heavy so you need to be able to do a manual role.
We are looking for someone with warehouse experience and how has good attention to detail.
This is a full time, ongoing role with the opportunity to go permanent employment.
Days & Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 18:00 – 02:00
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick customer orders using handheld scanners or pick lists
- Pack and label products in line with company standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work efficiently to meet daily targets
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or picking experience is desirable but not essential
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Physically fit and able to lift as some heavy lifting may be required
- Reliable and punctual
