We are currently supporting our client based in Leicester, LE4 to recruit an Assembly Operative.
This is a temp to perm opportunity, with a permanent contract being offered after a success 13 week period.
This is an opportunity to work for a very established engineering company, who pride themselves on high quality production and manufacture of their products.
The role is assemble products to a high standard.
Days & Hours of Work:
Monday – Thursday 06:00am – 14:30pm
Friday 06:00am – 11:30am
Total Hours: 37.5hrs per week
Rate of Pay: £13.00 Per Hour
The Role:
- Assemble products or components according to the technical drawings, work instructions, or specifications (SOPs)
- Perform repetitive tasks to assemble components or products at respective workstations
- Operative hand tools, power tools and machinery safely and effectively
- Inspect the finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work space
- Report any faults to supervisors promptly
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production KPI targets
About You:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or an assembly environment
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents or diagrams
- Excellent level of written and spoken English
- Computer literate
- Hard-working and reliable
- Able to work as part of a team
- Willingness to adapt and learn new processes
