If you submit your CV via the website you will be added as a candidate onto our database system, if appropriate.
Siamo processes data in line with GDPR and this falls into the categories of ‘consent’ or ‘legitimate interest’. Under the GDPR definition of legitimate interest Siamo includes relevant and appropriate relationships i.e. those with candidates or clients. Siamo have a legitimate interest in processing a candidate’s data in order to help them find a job and offer employment. This legitimate interest includes potential clients who are in discussions with us. Siamo may need to record this data for future reference. We hold data on our database to enable us to run our business, whether this is reaching out to candidates about opportunities or recording client discussions re projects or future business. We need to hold certain data to enable us to provide recruitment services which is the nature of our business.
Siamo are legally required to hold some candidate data which may include personal information for due diligence or contractual processes and this would include proof of right to work and ID. If you are not able to provide this data to process we may not be able to work together.
Unless specifically required by a potential client for the purposes of establishing safe working practices under Health and Safety legislation, Siamo do not require any data as defined as Sensitive Personal Data as defined under GDPR. We do not transfer data outside of the EEA.
You are entitled to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time where the processing of our data is based on consent.
Siamo would always seek your permission before sharing your personal information with a client if we were in discussions about a recruitment project. This would occur if the client required your personal details for interviewing, CV submittal or if an employment/services offer was made. We would also give notification of intention to transfer the personal data outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), if applicable. We would expect any shared information to be protected under the clients own Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulations/Data Protection Act.
We work on many opportunities at different times and any one of these could be suitable to your background and experience. We use our database to identify and contact candidates about positions and so keep personal details to enable us to do this as personal situations can change at any time.
If at any point you would like to review the personal information we are holding or request removal ‘right to erasure’ or rectification of that information, please contact us via email at privacy@siamogroup.com and we will pass your request to our designated role who will respond to you directly. Siamo have an May 2018 obligation to make relevant enquiries to verify the identity of the person requesting the changes/removal of data. Once verified, Siamo will process the request in accordance with our internal policy and inform you when the action has been completed.
Siamo will do our upmost to comply with the ICOs right to data portability if requested and will work in tandem with our database provider to be able to provide this data in a relevant format.
