At the end of January, Templine hosted a half-day seminar to assist with understanding the content and likely impact of the AWR (Agency Worker Regulations). Paul Chamberlain, Partner with Brabners Chaffe Street LLP, was the key speaker. He is a recognised national expert on the subject, having advised the government amongst others, and was able to draw on his extensive knowledge and experience in the employment sector to give an enlightening, if somewhat worrying view of the regulations.

Tony Bucciero, Managing Director of Templine, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, ‘This was the first large-scale event we have hosted but I know it was worth it. Everyone involved in the sector needs to be on top of the regulations and their implications. Questions from the delegates demonstrated that it is a serious subject with potentially, large, adverse legal and financial consequences for those who get it wrong.’
