Siamo Group is looking for experienced Class 1 drivers for a client of ours based in Erith, Kent – Permanant Position
Large Goods Vehicles (LGV) drivers will undertake delivery and collection of products to and from a variety of locations in line with all company policies and procedures.
You will be required to work a flexible shift pattern consisting of nights, late and early shifts including weekends. Your minimum contracted hours will be 32 hours, however routes are assigned up to 12.5 hours per day, as such you will regularly be expected to carry out additional hours. This is a Permanant Position
This role is based at our clients Erith site, Church Manorway, London
Day-to-day you will collect shopping from their state-of-the-art warehouses and take it to our smaller regional sites. No multi drops or hidden lanes
Shift Patterns / Pay Rates
This is a Permanant Position
Monday to Sunday AM & PM starts
Basic Rate: £18.48
Evening premium rate (18:00-06:00): £20.48
Sunday Day Premium rate: £20.22
Sunday Evening Premium (18:00-06:00): £22.42
Overtime day rate: £23.10
Overtime Evening rate (18:00-06:00): £25.60
So what do we need from you?
A passion for driving and all things trucks and lorries, along with the following driving licence requirements:
- A category C E driving licence
- A maximum of 6 penalty points
- No driving disqualifications in the past 10 years
- Desirable to have a minimum of 12 months experience
It also is a prerequisite that you are a safe and competent driver with the ability to be flexible on your shift length on a daily basis. As our cliemts new state of the art fleet are their pride and joy and they need to know they are in safe hands.
