Templine has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for recruitment – a clear statement of quality assurance that is checked by internal and external audits. This was achieved after a rigorous assessment, spanning several weeks, of the company’s key procedures including interviewing, registration and induction; client bookings; payroll and invoicing; data handling and security; feedback from clients and staff; purchasing; employee training and development; and internal audits.
‘We had most of the necessary systems in place, so attention was mainly focused on documenting what we already had rather than designing and implementing new procedures,’ commented Debbie Thorpe, who headed the project on behalf of Templine.
Enthusing about the project Debbie said, ‘I was pleased to learn that the whole exercise involves an on-going commitment to quality. It’s not simply a few hoops that have to be jumped through once. It’s a genuine commitment to our customers and staff that we will follow our policies and procedures.’
